London Calling!

We landed at London Heathrow early in the morning and traveled to the charming village of Hampstead, which is where we called home for the duration of our trip.

Day 1: Of course, our first stop was to check out the iconic Dover Street Market to get some fashion inspo, as well as admire all of their creative installations. DSM has a unique talent combining art and fashion for the ultimate shopping experience. We then headed to the fashionable Soho for lunch at the Ivy Soho Brasserie. Our new destroyed mom jean made for the perfect denim to enjoy the streets of London with. Paired with a trendy sneaker and any of our oversized blazers, or a classic boot and leather jacket, I was able to create so many different looks with them. After our fuel, we headed to two classic London department stores - Selfridges and Liberty London. We absolutely loved the elegance of the Tudor building of Liberty as we strolled through.

Day 2: First meal of the day was at the delicious Ottolenghi - notable dishes were the tofu scramble and the shakshouka. Brunch was followed by a much-needed walk around Camden Market. I had the best arepa at Arepazo - one of the many amazing street food stands. Our Gold No. 8 x Thursday’s bag made for the best travel accessory. It held everything I needed for the day perfectly. The classic round shape and high-quality leather make it a staple bag for any outfit.

Day 3: You can’t go to London without walking through the classic streets of Notting Hill. We stopped by the iconic Portobello Market for some vintage style inspo. We continued on our fashion excursion with a visit to the historic area of Westbourne to browse through the racks of Joseph’s Fashion, Matches, and of course, Goop. It was then off to Granger and Co - which serves up delicious Australian cuisine, for dinner and drinks.

Day 4: It was then off to East London - very trendy Shoreditch. We had lunch at Boxpark Shoreditch which is the world’s first shipping container mall! Shoreditch highlights include: Brick Lane, Pizza East, Spitalfields Market, Goodhood Shop, the Hoxton Hotel and Cecconi's at Soho House. I loved exploring the different areas of London in my By The Namkesake custom leather jacket. It’s a staple that needs to be added to everyone’s wardrobe.

Day 5: Our trip was completed by a visit to Harrods - the epitome of British style. We love London and cannot wait to go back!
